Hello Az, it was in a seminar and she didn't ride. But being part of PNH in membership I live with monthly DVD's, educational magazine, masterymanuals, demo-DVD's etc. , in addition to the educational material that is released and improved on constantly. Watching her work with and ride both horses with issues and her own horses you will see what a truly athletic, skillful and soft handler and rider she is. She has devoted her life to help horses and people together with Pat, and she truly knows what we need to learn, both horsepsychologywise and rideskillwise. I don't think she looks afraid of this horse, on the contrary, I feel she comes across far too highstrung this time. She is a very extroverted person and in her desire to match the horses energy she has overdone it and missed some important signals from the horse where she needs to stop, release and wait.
This is only how I see it, and I'm far from as experienced as Linda, Pat and many other experienced horsemen -and women.
She does have changed the lives of many, many horses and humans, and it's really unfortunate this incident will weaken PNH's good reputation.
I myself have made many mistakes in my life with horses, some I am really not proud of, but luckily I'm not an official educator with responsibilities.
And boy am I tired this morning and gosh was it a long write, I just couldn't find a good place to finish...
