Ja, nu när reiningen blev inställd - kommer det att bli någon westernridning i Globen (Stockholm International Horse Show) övht? Isåfall vad och vilken/vilka dagar?

Det står på Showens hemsida att det ska bli western i någon form men de vet väl inte själva ännu på vilket sätt. Ni som vet - vilken dag var Reiningen lagd på sist? Jag ska dit på lördagen nämligen och det skulle ju vara fint om de lade westerninslaget den da'n...

Hade tänkt åka i år men då reiningen inte blir av struntar jag i det. Det räcker inte med ev.westernshow för de flesta har gjort mig besviken.

***** Linköping Horse Show is the name of a new Swedish
mega show . With a car to the best rider and a
total prize purse of approx. ¤ 300 000, the worlds show
jumping elite is expected to Linkoping and the Cloetta
centre for this four star International show. Already
from the start, reining has an important part of the
show as it offers a Lawson Bronze Trophy and an FEICRI
class.
A week ago, one of the Swedish qualifications for
the Eurovision Song Contest was held at this fantastic
arena. On the 22-25 of September, the Cloetta Centre
will be invaded by hundreds of horses. It is time for
the first edition of a new equestrian mega show, the
Linkoping Horse Show. The worlds top riders will compete
for spectacular prize money and as a result of a
co-operation between the show organiser, Equestrian
Promotion, and the London based promotor- Megaphone
Promotions Ltd, there will also be international reining
on the program. This in form of an NRHA approved
reining show with a Lawson Bronze Trophy
reining and an FEI-CRI reining class. Approximately ¤
22 000 Euro will be granted to the reiners. The Open
class only will have approx. ¤ 14 000 Euro added.
The show starts on Thursday, September 22. Offered
classes are: NRHA Intermediate Open, NRHA Limited
Open, NRHA Non Pro, NRHA Intermediate Non Pro,
NRHA Limited Non Pro, NRHA Youth 13&under, NRHA
Youth 14-18. There will also be a first go for the NRHA
Open.
The Lawson Bronze Trophy Open finals will be
held on Friday evening. Saturday evening offers an
FEI-CRI class. This gives the opportunity of showing
reining at a high level to a big audience. The arena
cover 8500 seated spectators and the organiser expect
a sold out show.
Lennart Lindelöw is the Show Manager of Linkoping
Horse Show and together with Event Director
Annika Werne, the person behind this project. - We
have been presented a concept for the reining show
that fits perfectly into our show, he says. Reining is a
fast growing sport with its clearly defined audience
and we are happy to be able to integrate reining into a
show jumping event.’
