Hello, I have used a Weltmeyer son, Weltmeyer II, on my Urbino mare, and the foals are VERY nice. I've used him twice until now, the first foal is a now 8 years old mare, and she'll be ELITE in dressage as soon as she has a foal (which will be in may-june if all ends well).
The second foal is a now 8 months old colt, and he looks even better than his sister.
They're both registred in the Belgian Studbook, as I live in Belgium.
As to their character, the mare is not that easy to handle, rather nervous, she doesn't like to be handled or groomed or anything. I did Z-dressage with the her, she has very good gaits, but is not so easy to collect.
The colt seems to like people a little better, and likes being groomed too.
Next year, I'll probably use Woltkentanz II on my mare.
