Slängde ut en fråga nu, dels till en Borzoiuppfödare (fött upp i drygt 40 år) och vinthundsdomare i engelska kennelklubben samt en uppfödare i USA som fött upp nästan lika länge och är vinthundsdomare i AKC.

Well in Borzoi it used to be called the Borzoi dance, there was a sort of spring when they trotted, mostly these days they are moved so fast in the ring you can't see it. Also they were supposed to cut the daisies, meaning the feet going out and up enough just to cut the heads of the lawn daisies, (the little ones kids make daisy chains from)
I was told that when ordinary people took them hunting they sometimes had a long distance to travel first, so they did not need to waste energy, this proved the most energy saving. It actually makes sense, the legs not going to far out or up, which in a long legged hound would create a little bounce, called, as I said the dance.
