"Those who event that push themselves into dangerous riding trying to make the time – they have an attitude problem, it is not the sport that has the problem. I know that although in the grand scheme of the sport I am a fast rider, sometimes I can be a slower rider than Phillip (for example), and would not always be surprised or upset if I found myself a few time faults slower than he. I ride my horses simply according to their, and my ability on any specific course and I have found success doing so without having to chase any other rider's time."
